Jim Pautler, Vice President, Engineering

Jim Pautler is the vice president of engineering for AMX and is responsible for all aspects of the company's research and development activities. Pautler joined AMX in July 2005. Mr. Pautler brings more than 30 years of experience in the design and development of communications systems for wireless, optical and telecommunications technologies. He has successfully brought to market innovative technologies and has established highly efficient manufacturing operations.

Before joining AMX, Mr. Pautler served as vice president of engineering and manufacturing for Optisoft where he was responsible for the development and manufacturing of an LED traffic signal platform. Previously, he held the vice president of engineering position at Broadband Gateways, and has served in various engineering capacities at Nortel Networks, Siemens, McDonnell Douglas and Motorola.

Pautler holds an Executive Master's of Business Administration from Washington University, a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri, Rolla.
