Philip Langley, National Sales Manager AMX Australia & New Zealand

Philip Langley was appointed national business development manager for AMX Australia in January 2008 with a mandate to create a new sales channel across Australia for the AMX Connectivity suite of products.

July 1 2008 saw Philip's appointment to the national sales manager role with an overarching responsibility for the entire AMX Australia sales budget and the management of the sales & solutions architect/pre-sales engineering team.

In early 2009 Philip's responsibility extended to the New Zealand Sales budget and the management of the National Value Added Reseller (VAR) network across Australia and New Zealand. October 2010 capped off 18 months of growth for the AMX AUNZ sales division with the inclusion of the Consultant Alliance Group (CAG) team under Philip's management. Further growth is planned for 2011, with the recruitment of three Sales Engineers, one for the VIC, NZ & NSW business units.

Philip comes to AMX from Bose Australia where he managed the Professional Systems Division for Australia & NZ. Prior to that he was a Director of Vision RE Limited: a UK based Audio Visual System Integration Company based in Basingstoke in the UK, eventually returning to Australia in 1999 after an extended period overseas to start the Australian operation for Vision RE: in Brisbane.

Philip completed a four year Electrical Apprenticeship with SEQEB (Energex) a Queensland based Electrical Supply Authority in 1988 before leaving for the UK in 1989 to work predominately within the Audio Visual Industry prior to his involvement with Vision RE: Limited in the early 1990's.
