This month, we'd like to share Rashid's "Passion for Innovation", which is also featured in the November issue of Residential Systems as the most recent installment of the magazine's "Passion for the Business" essay series.

Rashid shares his thoughts on technology innovation and his belief that manufacturers must unite behind standards and interoperability to take the control industry to the next level. "I feel passionately that manufacturers must now rally behind device interoperability, which will not only make installations easier for dealers, but will also give them more control over their businesses and the products they offer," he said.
