Meet The Team:
David Jago and Gary Sage
From AMX East Sales


David Jago and Gary Sage recently joined the AMX team as sales representatives located on the East Coast. They're excited about joining AMX and look forward to expanding our business and customer service in their territories. Here are some things you might like to know about David and Gary.

David Jago

Q: Discuss Your Career Background:
A: I've been involved in the AV and Communications industries for 25 years. Initially, I gained experience in video production and presentation, conference services and facility management and for the past nine years, I've held positions in sales and engineering for resellers in data and voice networking, videoconferencing and audiovisual. I hold technical and sales certifications from Polycom, Tandberg, AMX and Cisco.

Q: What Sales Territory Will You Be Covering?
A: I will be working with accounts in several states throughout the mid-Atlantic region with a focus on Virginia, New York, Pennsylvania, and Maryland.

Q: What brought you to AMX?
A: I was excited about the opportunity to work for a major control systems manufacturer. My background in technology provides AMX with a salesperson who is not only experienced with products but also with advanced solutions and how they can be applied.

Q: Describe your new role and what you plan to accomplish?
A: With many years on the other side of the channel, I am familiar with resellers' needs and concerns. It is my hope that addressing their challenges will help to foster greater business relationships and strong growth for AMX business.

Gary Sage

Q: Discuss Your Career Background?
A: I spent the last 10 years with SMART Technologies, most recently as their National Sales Manager. Prior to that, I spent seven years with Da-Lite Screen Company, three were as National Sales Manager and four as Territory Manager. I started in the AV business with Dukane, representing them in the Northeast as Area Sales Manager in 1984.

Q: What Sales Territory Will You Be Covering?
A: Western New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

Q: What brought you to AMX?
A: I have always been involved with products associated with AMX control systems: screens, doc cameras, projectors, AV furniture, etc. and have been intrigued with the company's capabilities and its people.

Q: Describe your new role and what you plan to accomplish?
A: I plan to make AMX the dominant player in my part of the country with our dealers, helping uncover new opportunities and developing old customers.
