Archi-Tech AV Awards at InfoComm 2006

Archi-Tech Magazine is now accepting entries for its fourth annual AV Awards program at the InfoComm International show next June, which recognizes the truly creative and innovative projects and designs of AMX industry dealers and consultants. Get the credit you deserve by submitting your best work.

The awards recognize the accomplishment of all members of the project team for their work in bridging the gap between design and technology to create highly functional buildings that integrate the latest in modern technology.

Examples of projects to include (but not limited to) might be in the following areas:

• Corporate/Office
• Worship
• Retail
• Education Facilities
• Medical/Health
• Urban Design
• Historic Buildings
• Museums
• Hospitality
• Entertainment
• Government/Military

Award winners will be recognized during a special ceremony at InfoComm, June 7 - 9 in Orlando, Florida and in the July/August issue of Archi-Tech.

Electronic House of the Year Awards

Now is the time to enter your very best home project in the EH "Electronic House of the Year Awards". Keep in mind "best" doesn't mean the biggest or most expensive. These awards are about creating a convenient, easy-to-use and in many cases entertaining lifestyle for the homeowner. Note: Deadline for submissions is February 8, 2006.

Award Categories:

• Best Home Theater
• Best Family/Media Room
• Best Master Suite
• Best Master Bath
• Best Kitchen
• Best Kids Room
• Best Outdoor Space
• Best Other Room
• Best Electronic HOUSE of the Year-Grand Prize!

The Grand Prize winner will have a feature-length article written about the installing company, the home installation and products used to create the best connected, electronic home. Your entry should fit this description: The best connected, Electronic House is one that has made the homeowners lifestyle easier, more pleasurable and entertaining, and comes with peace-of-mind.

The best-connected Electronic House has a whole-house control system. These connected systems include (but not limited to): multiroom, distributed audio (and in many cases distributed video); lighting control; entertainment system (does not have to be a dedicated home theater); and a security system.

The winners and runners-up will be printed in a special issue of Electronic House in May. The winners as well as all viable entries will be posted on electronichouse.com for a full year and there will be a link to your Web site and the manufacturers. You will also be able to put a link on your site to the EH "Winner's Circle."

Deadline for submissions is February 8, 2006.
