Mio Modero™ R-2 with RF Frees Users From Traditional IR Constraints

Just announced, the new Mio Modero™ R-2 remote improves on the recently launched Mio Modero R-1 by adding RF capability making it an ideal solution to control a specific number of integrated devices from more than one room.

• Easy to configure through KeypadBuilder
• 45 backlit, laser-engraved buttons
• 9 buttons (3 Macro/6 device) are custom-engraveable
• Supports 14 languages for engraving and LCD
• Automatically illuminates when picked up
• 418 MHz or 433 MHz RF technology

This new remote is nearly identical in form and feel to the R-1, however the addition of RF allows signals to be transmitted using 418 MHz or 433 MHz one-way RF for greater coverage and flexible control. Signals are transmitted through walls, ceilings, etc. with a range of up to 100 feet indoors or 300 feet outdoors (dependent upon conditions).
