NetLinx™ Plasma-Proof IR Sensor: Easy to Hide With Optical Filtering

By popular demand, now there’s an IR Sensor that achieves functionality never before possible in AMX IR Receivers. The new IR sensor combines a tiny and easily hidden form factor with optical and electronic filtering technology to allow it to operate in almost any lighting environment.

The 38KHz sensor interfaces directly with any NetLinx Integrated Controller over AxLink and supports all AMX IR codes. Measuring just 16mm by 9mm, the new sensor offers several new installation options previously unavailable with standard sized IR receivers. It can be placed on top of a credenza or bookshelf, under a skirted table, sofa, bed or just about anywhere that IR reception is required.

And new optical and electronic filtering technology overcomes interference previously inherent from plasma displays, fluorescent lighting and indirect sunlight.
