AMX Wins Awards at
InfoComm and XChange Tech Connect

AMX and its MAX Encoder/Decoder and VisualArchitect Products Honored

During two recent trade shows, InfoComm and XChange Tech Connect, AMX was recognized for its product innovation and leadership.

At InfoComm 2006, Systems Contractor News and InfoComm International® honored AMX’s MAX Encoder/Decoder with its “Most Innovative Product for Multimedia Distribution Over An IP Network” award.

The Encoder/Decoder captures video from multiple video sources and encodes the video into MPEG 2/MPEG 4 formats. It then distributes the encoded content over an IP network and plays the content over one or more televisions, projectors, plasma screens or AMX touch panels.

Also at InfoComm 2006, Pro AV selected AMX’s VisualArchitect software as one of its “10 Hot Picks,” a feature article that will be included in the magazine’s July issue. VisualArchitect is the industry’s most robust software for building and designing control systems.

At Digital Connect magazine's recent DICE awards AMX was the only manufactuer to be awarded in the “Home Control Platforms” category. Winners of the DICE awards were determined via a survey that measured solution provider and digital integrator satisfaction with vendor products and services.

“To be recognized for our products’ innovation and value is truly an honor,” said Rashid Skaf, AMX president and CEO.
