The New
Resource Management Suite 3.0
Third-Generation Software Offers:

- New Security and Customization Features
- Five Customized Solutions Tailored to Vertical Markets

The industry’s most robust solution for managing and monitoring electronic equipment and scheduling meeting/class rooms just got even better.

The new Resource Management Suite (RMS) 3.0 is more flexible and customizable than ever. Additionally it's now available in eight new solution varieties to allow it to be custom-targeted to specific vertical markets.

New RMS 3.0 Features:

  • Customized user interface – Customize the look and feel of the RMS main page to meet each user’s individual needs and preferences; select which controls are viewed – such as the daily schedule, projector lamp usage, transport runtime usage, hotlist, system status and more – and in what order.
  • Advanced Help desk – Remotely control any networked device via the RMS web interface when equipment is left unattended or someone requires help operating equipment.
  • Flexible configuration – Configure each individual room for only the capabilities that you need –select either asset management, room scheduling or both.
  • Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) interface – View AMX-controlled devices using SNMP applications – a huge benefit to IT professionals because they can now manage their networks and associated devices, including computers, servers and printers, and their AMX control systems, in one SNMP application, such as HP OpenView.
  • Redundant Server with Failover Support – To minimize server downtime, the application will enable the deployment of several redundancy or backup methods to protect your data.

Eight Flavors to Choose From

In addition to the current MeetingManager, ClassroomManager and IntelligentManager, RMS 3.0 is now available in the following new " Manager" versions:

  • WorshipManager for houses of worship
  • ExhibitManager for museums
  • VenueManager for entertainment venues and broadcast entities
  • HospitalityManager for hotels and cruise ships
  • HomeManager for Multi-Dwelling Units (MDUs) and single-family residences.

"While our current-generation RMS applications have been widely adopted by corporations and educational institutions around the world, AMX recognized that we could increase customer satisfaction even further by incorporating a variety of new capabilities, such as a new customizable interface and advanced help desk functionality, that more completely meet the needs of IT and AV professionals," said Rashid Skaf, AMX president and CEO. "With the world's most robust feature set, RMS 3.0 continues to be the gold standard for the industry."

Available Soon

All eight RMS 3.0 applications will be available in the second half of 2006.
