New 802.11g Wireless Access Point
What A Product!

- Multiple VLANs
- True Wi-Fi WPA2 Encryption
- RoHS Compliant
- Smaller Form Factor

The new 802.11g Wireless Access Point is Wi-Fi Certified® and supports multiple Virtual LANs (VLAN) for real-time applications, such as the AMX control network and Voice over Wireless LAN (VoWLAN).

The NXA-WAP250G was designed to combine a small form factor, integrated antenna and advanced wireless encryption capabilities, including:

  • Wi-Fi Protected Access with Pre-Shared Keys (WPA-PSK)
  • Enterprise-grade WPA2 with 802.1x, which supports a variety of Extensible Authentication Protocols (EAP): EAP-Transport Layer Security (TLS), EAP-Tunneled Transport Layer Security (TTLS) and EAP- Protected Extensible Authentication Protocol (PEAP)
  • 64/128/152-bit Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP)

The new WAP enables two separate and secure VLANs that can be set up and operated independently. For example, VLAN1 can be allocated for high-priority, real-time applications, such as AMX control and VoWLAN, while VLAN2 is used for applications that are not as time-sensitive, such as e-mail and the Internet.

The NXA-WAP250G also provides maximum wireless coverage via three modes of operation – Access Point, Repeater and Bridge.
