AMX Partners With Planon New Partnership Interface Will Streamline
We are pleased to announce a new partnership with Planon, who specializes in Integrated Workplace Management Software. AMX has developed a scheduling plug-in that will enable Planon’s Workplace Management Software to interface with our Resource Management Suite (RMS) of products.
“In our discussions with a number of organizations in Europe and around the world, we learned that there are many synergies between our RMS software applications and those offered by Planon,” said Robert Noble, AMX chief technology officer. “The interface we developed came in direct response to requests we received to combine the scheduling capabilities of both applications into one streamlined interface. By delivering this new capability to the market, we are increasing employee efficiency and simplifying the experience for our customers.” The partnership between AMX and Planon will enable users to do something that is truly unique – schedule a meeting using Planon’s software and then have the meeting displayed on an AMX Modero® Touch Panel installed outside the room. Using the communications link created by the interface, Planon’s software tells the RMS application about the newly scheduled meeting, which the RMS application then automatically sends to the touch panel for display. This functionality is not possible with any other building management software on the market today. Planon’s Integrated Workplace Management Software provides organizations with a robust solution for managing a wide variety of business processes, including personnel, project, budget and property management.
