New AutoPatch Optima
CatPro Boards

Routing and Transmitting High-Resolution RGBHV + Stereo Audio over Category Cable

AMX has simplified signal management yet again by integrating CatPro technology, which transmits high-resolution RGBHV + Stereo Audio over category cable, into our family of AutoPatch Optima Series Matrix Switchers.

The new 4x8 and 8x8 RGBHV + Stereo to CatPro Boards transmit local computer video signals to distances up to 1,000 feet and at resolutions up to 1600x1200 and 1920x1080.

This makes them ideal solutions for distributing multimedia content to display devices in lobbies, classrooms, portable command-and-control facilities and museum kiosks, among many others.

  • Supports up to eight outputs
  • Designed to transmit local RGBHV video inputs (HD15) and local stereo audio inputs (Phoenix style) over a single category cable output (RJ-45).
  • Eliminates the need for an external transmission device on each output
  • Saves rack space and reduces installation cost
  • Designed to work with all AutoPatch CatPro products, including the CatPro Transmitter/Receiver units and Modula CatPro Boards.
  • For example, system integrators can use the CatPro Receiver to easily adjust the signal gain, peak, skew and volume at each individual destination device, which speeds installation.

Availability
The Optima 8x4 and 8x8 RGBHV + Stereo to CatPro Boards will be available Q2 2007.
