New AutoPatch Epica DG Boards

We've expanded the AutoPatchEpica Digital Generation (DG) line yet again with the release of local RGBHV/HD 15 Input and Output Boards. The EpicaDG platform now provides video format conversion between the new RGBHV/HD 15 Boards and the existing DVI Boards and MTP Fiber Boards, which reduces equipment cost and rack space.

With these new boards, the EpicaDG can also integrate routing, conversion and fiber transmission of RGBHV and DVI signals.

With the addition of the EpicaDG RGBHV/HD-15 Input and Output Boards, command and control facilities, large entertainment venues such as stadiums and arenas, and many others can now route, convert and transport any video format to any display device simultaneously – eliminating the need for external transmission devices.

Reducing Rack Space by 75%!
For large-scale installations that do not require fiber optic transmission, the EpicaDG can reduce rack space by up to 75 percent. For example, a full EpicaDG 144x144 switcher utilizing all local RGBHV/HD-15 Input and Output Boards is only 16 RUs (Rack Units), as opposed to 78 RU in the traditional BNC configuration.

The new boards also reduce overall installation costs because they uniquely provide local and long distance inputs and outputs on the same matrix switcher enclosure.

Availability
The EpicaDG RGBHV/HD-15 Input and Output Boards will be available in Q3 2007.
