New AutoPatch Epica DG DVI
Fiber Transmitter and Receiver:
Uncompressed DVI Transmissions up to 3,000 Feet!
With the new AutoPatch Epica Digital Generation (DG) DVI to Fiber Transmitter and DG DVI to Fiber Receivers, system integrators now have a way to transmit uncompressed digital video over distances up to 3,000 feet to multiple displays.
The DVI to Fiber Transmitter and Receiver can be used with EpicaDG Matrix Switchers to deliver video to as many as 144 displays – ideal for any large or highly-
secure facility, such as command-and-control, homeland security, broadcast or business.
The products can also be used together to create a point-to-point solution for smaller installations – such as graphic design studios or small post-production facilities – needing to deliver high-resolution computer video to three or fewer displays.
“With these new solutions, AMX has met a real need that many organizations have to distribute digital video over long distances while preserving signal integrity,” said Robert Noble, AMX chief technology officer. “When significant investments are made in true DVI sources, such as HDTV tuners, DVD players and personal computers, solutions should be available to deliver that same high-quality video throughout the facility.”
