By harnessing the power of standards-based Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) and VoIP technology, telephone calls can be placed or received on the MVP-5200i (in the future), MVP-8400i, NXD-1000Vi and NXD-700Vi through a
simple software upgrade and the use of the SIP Gateway.

or future AMX system.

Customers can use their existing telephone service and simply add the SIP Gateway to it, providing more calling features and typically lower costs. The technology is
seamless to the end user and is as simple as pressing an on-screen icon to initiate or receive a call.
