AMX to Open Central European Office in April 2008

AMX and COMM-TEC are working together to establish the new AMX Central Europe Office near Stuttgart, Germany. This office will coordinate sales, marketing and technical support for Germany, Austria, and Eastern Europe.

"As AMX continues to expand our product portfolio and aggressively increase our market presence in the central European region, establishing a direct office will enable us to provide our customers with a high level of on-going service and support," said Michael Olinger, AMX vice president of international sales. "Over the last 14 years, COMM-TEC has done an outstanding job representing AMX in the central European market, and we look forward to working with them in the future on projects that combine AMX solutions with many of the other high-quality products they represent."

The office for AMX Central Europe will open April 1, 2008 and will house sales and technical support staff and include classrooms for AMX University. Additionally, an AMX Product Showroom will provide a venue for AMX dealers, industry consultants, architects and interior designers to showcase and demonstrate AMX solutions to their customers. Tim Penn, managing director of AMX Europe, will oversee operations until a general manager has been named for AMX Central Europe.

AMX Receives Strong Turnout
at 100% Detail and ISE Roadshows

AMX Europe recently had strong turnouts at several big shows: the 100% Detail Show in London and the Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) Roadshow with stops in Copenhagen, Warsaw, Prague, Vienna and Zagreb.

100% Detail gave AMX the opportunity to meet with Europe's top architects, designers and developers with overall show attendance eclipsing 26,000.

AMX was a platinum sponsor of the Fall 2007 ISE Road Shows and in addition to attending and exhibiting offered training at all shows.
