Joins AMX as Vice President of Regional Sales for Central U.S.

AMX is proud to introduce Gary Schafer as new vice president of regional sales for the central US. Gary is a software industry veteran with more than 20 years of experience in sales and customer relationship management.

In his new role, Gary will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategy in the central region, which stretches from the Rocky Mountains to the Mississippi River.

"When combined with his extensive technology sales and client management experience, it was clear that Gary possessed the overall knowledge and expertise needed to bolster AMX's market share in the central region and to propel our customer satisfaction levels even higher," said Alan Stoddard, AMX vice president of U.S. sales.

Gary joins AMX from InterDyn Corporation, the leading global partner for Microsoft Business Solutions, where he was vice president of sales and marketing. While in this role, he led the company's sales, marketing and business development efforts, which included setting corporate growth goals, and developing and implementing customer and client care strategies.

Gary holds a masters degree in business management from the University of Mary and a bachelor of science degree in computer information systems from Valley State University.
