NEW for RMS 3.2!
Device and Asset Tracking
Create and register any asset - such as tables/chairs, flip charts, podiums/lecturns and mobile A/V carts - for inventory management. The location of items can also be tracked in real time using Anterus Asset Tags. Instant notifications can then be sent when these items are moved.
Automation Based on System Conditions
Configure MeetingManager to perform a specific function as a result of a pre-defined event. For example, the system can be configured automatically:
- Turn on a fan based on the temperature threshold in an equipment rack.
- Turn on a security light or audible alarm if a device is moved out of a zone without authorization.
- Raise and lower motorized shades based on ambient lighting conditions.
- Turn lights and non-essential equipment, such as a projector or display, on or off based on the occupancy of a room.
Greater Scalability
MeetingManager can now support up to 1,000 meeting rooms and approximately 10,000 assets.
Additional Reports
Seven reports have been added, providing IT professionals with more options and greater flexibility for tracking assets, rooms and people. These new reports include:

As always, RMS is available in seven varieties:

Announcing the biggest addition to RMS 3.2 - Anterus, the Radio Frequency IDentification (RFID) Solution from AMX, which offers exciting capabilities never before available in an integrated AV or control system. Instant triggering of system events or notifying administrators is as simple as devices or people entering and exiting a room.
The Anterus system consists of the Anterus Reader, which
is connected to the NetLinx Controller, and a choice of
RFID tags (Asset Tag or Badge). These are attached to devices or worn by people to identify and track location, keep assets secure and trigger events.
RMS Ready
Anterus was designed to work with and enhance RMS 3.2 for the ultimate in device management, monitoring and scheduling. RMS can notify administrators as Anterus-tagged devices and people wearing Anterus badges move in and out of Anterus-monitored zones.

Meeting Rooms and Classrooms
- Identify, locate and track mobile devices such as projectors and DVD players that may be regularly moved throughout classrooms within a school
- By wearing an RFID badge, a professor or meeting organizer can effortlessly begin a lesson or presentation by triggering lighting to be dimmed, powering up the projector, lowering the screen and starting the presentation – just by stepping through the door
Hospitals
- Secure larger, fixed assets such as hospital heart-rate monitors or dialysis machines, not traditionally connected to an RMS-supported control system
- In a hospital that issues RFID badges to their personnel, RMS can notify system administrators when a doctor moves in and out of a monitored area to determine the closest physician in a trauma situation.
