We are continually working to improve our products even further through firmware and software upgrades. Recently, we made several significant enhancements, which we welcome you to download directly right now to make sure you have the most recent updates.

Here's a list of the new product upgrades and some of the enhancements that were included:

 

MVP-8400i, MVP-8400 and MVP-7500 Touch Panels
  • New/updated wireless driver is included in this release.
  • New/updated wireless security supplicant is included in this release.
  • Timeout for DHCP changed from one minute to one hour.
  • Enhanced retrieval of DNS information.
  • Enhancement to address transition of panel going to sleep.
  • Enhancement to address non-functioning buttons when panel is not asleep.
  • Some timeouts have been modifed in the wireless supplicant to loosen the restrictions placed on a battery powered device. This should help panels with online/offline issues.
  • Many changes incorporated to resolve several offline issues that have been reported from the field.
  • Changes made to better handle deauthentication/reauthentication events initiated by the WAP.
  • Enhanced 802.11 EAP enabled connectivity.
  • WPA reauthentication enhancements.

 

Mio Modero R-4 ZigBee Module,
Mio Modero R-3 ZigBee Module,
and
NetLinx ZigBee Module,

  • Increased response time of roaming in Gateway PPC code
  • Lowered timeout on failed messages to 2 seconds in Gateway PPC code
  • Commented out all "need upgrades" in Gateway PPC code to prevent repeater upgrades
  • Added code to R4/R3 ZigBee module to send multiple gateway heartbeat requests when the stack indicates that the network is up
  • Lowered the required number of failed polls in the R4/R3 ZigBee module before initiating a roam
  • Added code to R4/R3 ZigBee module to increment the failed polls counter upon a failure to send a radio message.

 

Metreau Entry Communicator

  • Modified audio properties to come up 50% values
  • Establishes multi-cast calls if uni-cast call has already been performed
  • For consistency MET-ECOM now supports the ^MODEL? command

 

NXA-WAP250G Wireless Access Point

  • Adds WPA/WPA2 Security.
  • Adds MAC filtering
  • Adds NULL check in CGI to prevent system crash if HTTP attack
  • Adds web UI for 11b only radio mode
  • Adds VAP priority support
  • Adds settings of WEP key index and key length of wizard page
  • Adds ability to select and store multiple WEP keys
  • Adds displaying of all MAC addresses on Details page
  • Adds more detailed instructions to reboot page
  • Clarifies wording in setup wizard
  • Adds firmware upgrade progress bar
  • Adds exception list for MAC addresses

 

MAX-HT and MAX-MMS Content Server Firmware v 4.40.2
(Available by contacting AMX Technical Support directly at 800.932.6993)

Note: This firmware must be obtained by contacting AMX Technical Support. Firmware upgrades require firmware revision 4.34.33 or 4.34.37

  • Enhanced accessibility of online content service on some networks
  • Created default track names

 

MAX-AVP Audio/Video Player Firmware v 1.20.4

Note: For instructions for installing the firmware and how to create a firmware upgrade CD from the ISO file, please click to view the readme file.

Prerequisites:
Requires a MAX-HT or MMS server with software version at least 4.34.33 with applied hotfix of 4.34.37-1 for networked operation.

  • System now detects and handles any missing CD album or track data when encountered and operates as expected
  • MAX-AVP is now compatible with display devices with HDMI 1.3
  • Added a watchdog to monitor critical subsystems to detect and recover from faults
  • Added network monitor feature to automatically reboot if the MAX-AVP loses communication with the server for over 5 minutes. If MAX-AVP is used without a server then the user must change the "Network Mode:" setting to "Standalone" under the Setup/Settings page of the MAX-AVP. Otherwise the AVP will reboot every 5 minutes. This feature is on by default after upgrading to v1.20.4.

 

KeypadBuilder v2.3.0.92

  • Project Configuration (R-1, R-2, R-3 only): Added checkbox to flag remote project as Teletext remote.
  • Display Configuration (R-1, R-2, R-3 only): Modified button labels to reflect that there is one additional macro button and one less remote device button on Teletext remotes.
  • Engraving (R-1, R-2, R-3 only): Modified button labels to reflect that there is one additional macro button and one less remote device button on Teletext remotes.
  • Edit List Box Table (DMS Keypads): Auto-assignment of channel codes - Added properties to be used to automatically assign channel port/code values to new table entries.
  • Document Versioning: All projects created or saved using this release of KeypadBuilder (v2.3) are saved using Document Version 1.1 and cannot be opened by older versions of KeypadBuilder.

  • Additional save prompts added

 

SNAPI 1.10 Update for NetLinx Studio v1.10.198

  • Added new RFIDSystem Device/Component support
  • Camera Component to process Camera Properties only if there is a count of properties
  • HVACComponentImpl - corrected each increment/decrement set point implementation so change does not preempt its set/update..() methods
  • KeypadComponentImpl - corrected KeyPadComponentEvent constructor in updateButtonState() and updateButtonStatus() to pass button address
  • SecuritySystemComponent - added PointData to updatePointSecurityState/Status() for more valid member values
  • SourceSelectComponent - updated handling of data event values to distinguish between SNAPI definitions
  • Updated constructors and getters/setters of all members for the TitleInfo type
  • UPSComponentImpl updateTest() multiples supported with map of TestActions for TestResults, including test parameter to support multiples
  • Enabled SNAPI with 'Property' member feedback for new implementations to SourceSelectComponent, CameraComponent, DisplayComponent, and TunerStationComponent including the Devices that aggregate them; also deprecated SourceSelectComponent methods and members in favor of the newer implementation; versioned out SourceSelect, Camera, Display, TunerStation components and their affected devices
  • Updated duet.devicesdk.utilities PriorityQueue and Queue classes
