December 2008

2009 ACE Certification Maintenance Period Coming to a Close

In February 2008, AMX® announced its new ACE certification maintenance plan, which includes credit for specific training courses offered by CEDIA, InfoComm and NSCA.

The program states that if you wish to maintain your current certifications for the 2009 year, you must complete 10 CEUs by December 31st, 2008. Details of the ACE certification plan may be found AMX.com/Training.

Beyond classroom courses, AMX University offers many new courses online enabling you to complete your CEU requirements before the end of 2008.

MORE Options to Earn
ACE Maintenance CEUs!

Have you invested at least half a day with an AMX Sales Engineer this year?  If so, you may have earned at least 1 CEU toward your 2009 ACE Maintenance!

Discussion topics may have included:

  • New AMX Products
  • Solution planning
  • Design tips
  • Programming tips & tricks
  • Other technical assistance

The idea behind the ACE Maintenance plan is “Continuing Education”.  So, if you learned something about AMX during one of these events, submit that activity for verification.  Please send the following information to CEU@amx.com:

  1. Date(s) of activity
  2. Duration of activity (Example: 2-1/2 days or 20 hours)
  3. AMX personnel who delivered the activity
  4. Additional attendees, if known
  5. Topics covered
  6. What part of this activity was most valuable to you

AMX University will verify the activity with the designated AMX personnel and award 1 CEU credit for each 4-hour block of activity.

You will be notified by email when your CEUs are awarded.
