Modero Telephone Capability Arrives
Through Firmware Upgrade this May
You will soon be able to make and receive telephone calls via an AMX SIP Gateway with all existing Modero intercom-enabled Touch Panel models through our new Telephone/Intercom Integration package which will be available through a new firmware upgrade this May. The package will begin shipping pre-installed on all Modero intercom-enabled models ordered following the release of the new firmware package.
- Make and receive local, long, distance and international calls just like any telephone in a home or business
- Use your intercom to communicate with any intercom-enabled Modero or any Metreau Entry Communicator on the NetLinx Control system
- Includes features like Caller ID, Call Waiting, Call Groups and Voicemail
- Supports up to 50 telephony devices including analog phones, SIP phones and Modero intercom-enabled Touch Panels
- Delivers PBX functionality to a home or small office
- Allows telephone access via VoIP or access directly to PSTN (traditional telephone landline)
Availability and Pricing
This integration package is expected to be available for download from the AMX.com Tech Center this May and will be free of charge to download. We also suggest subscribing to our Download Updates email to be notified as soon as the upgrade is available.
