Update 1:
NXR-ZGW NetLinx ZigBee Pro Gateway v.3.01.11
http://www.amx.com/techcenter/downloadConfirm.asp?fn=/assets/firmwareFiles/SW5791_01A_NXR_ZGW_v3_01_11.kit

Release Date: December 11, 2009

Notes:

  • For the proper operation of all devices, it is recommended that all devices be brought up to the most current firmware version.

Loading procedures for v3.01.11:

  • When upgrading from any version less than v3.00.00:
    1. Upgrade to v3.00.00 first (example: v1.01.20 -> v3.00.00)
    2. The upgrade from v3.00.00 to v3.01.11 will require two loads of the file SW5791_01A_NXR_ZGW_v3_01_11.kit. The first load will fail after the third file is transferred with the NetLinx error message "Transfer Aborted - Unsupported file type." After getting this error message, reboot the gateway and verify that the NetLinx OnLine Tree shows v3.01.11 for the version on the gateway. Transfer file SW5791_01A_NXR_ZGW_v3_01_11.kit to the gateway a second time with the "Reboot Device" box checked in NetLinx. This time the entire kit file will transfer. After the gateway reboots, it will download the firmware to the radio. This will take approximately two minutes.
    3. Load SW5795_92_ZIGBEE_END_DEVICE_v3_01_05.kit -- a gateway reboot IS NOT necessary after sending this file.
    4. Load SW5791_07_ZIGBEE_REPEATER_v3_01_05.kit -- a gateway reboot IS NOT necessary after sending this file.
  • When upgrading from v3.00.00:
    2. Load SW5795_92_ZIGBEE_END_DEVICE_v3_01_05.kit -- a gateway reboot IS NOT necessary after sending this file.
    3. Load SW5791_07_ZIGBEE_REPEATER_v3_01_05.kit -- a gateway reboot IS NOT necessary after sending this file.
  • When upgrading from v3.01.07:
    1. Transfer the file SW5791_01A_NXR_ZGW_v3_01_11.kit to the gateway via NetLinx with the "Reboot Device" box checked in NetLinx.
    2. It is not necessary to reload SW5795_92_ZIGBEE_END_DEVICE_v3_01_05.kit or SW5791_07_ZIGBEE_REPEATER_v3_01_05.kit since these files have not changed in this release.

Prerequisites:

  • NXR-ZGW firmware v3.00.00
  • Zigbee Coordinator firmware v3.00.00
  • NXR-ZRP firmware v3.00.00
  • R4 ZigBee module firmware v3.00.00

Changes in this Release:

  • Resolved issue with gateway crashing when changing parameters on the Personal Area Network(PAN) webpage
  • Changed power settings for Europe and Japan for old gateways
  • Changed power settings for Europe and Japan for repeaters

Known Issues:

  • On systems that have one gateway and no repeaters, the remotes can become inoperable under extreme amounts of traffic (for example, 30 messages every two seconds to each of six remotes). Rebooting these devices will bring them back online.
  • Setting the gateway device number to 0 can cause it to not be correctly recognized by the master on master firmware releases less than v3.50.430.
  • The gateway does not currently support NDP mode for master connections.
  • In high traffic situations remotes can appear on the gateway commissioning page, even though they are commissioned. This has no impact on the actual operation of the remotes.
  • In some cases, the R3 power source will show as "Unknown" on the gateway web pages when the R3 is in its cradle. This issue does not impact the functionality of the remote or the gateway.

Update 5:
Modero MVP-5200i Touch Panel Firmware v.2.66.21
http://www.amx.com/techcenter/downloadConfirm.asp?fn=/assets/firmwareFiles/SW5966-01_MVP5200i_v2_66_21.zip

Release Date: December 21, 2009

Note: All prerequisite files are included in the WinZip download file along with upgrade instructions.

  • Requires latest TPD4 Software (2.11.611 or later) to use new Fast Dynamo feature.
  • Requires latest MET-ECOM firmware (1.01.15 or later) to use the Fast Dynamo feature with MET-ECOM video.
  • Requires new SIP NetLinx module and panel pages in order to support automatic accelerated video and SIP in conjunction with a MET-ECOM device. As a workaround to achieve accelerated video, the existing module can be modified by searching for "%Fstream_cam_wg.mjpeg" and replacing with "%Fstream_cam_eth.mjpeg". Additionally, the "Dynamo Resource" box must be checked for the camera resource in the TPD4 Resource Manager.

Changes in This Release:

  • Added a recovery method for a malfunctioning wireless card when subjected to ESD.

Known Issues:

  • Loss of connection may occur after sending TPD4 page in NDP(UDP)/URL(UDP) mode.
  • Panel is unable to display two fast dynamo images simultaneously. If two are ever required an additional resource should be created in the TPD4 Resource Manager without "Dynamo Resource" specified.
  • When an image is designated "Dynamo Resource" in the TPD4 Resource Manager, only one image should be visible at any one time because only one can be accelerated at a time. If multiple images are required (e.g. a popup viewing the same image as an underlying page), then a separate Resource should be created in the Resource Manager without the "Dynamo Resource" box checked, and that resource should be used anywhere a duplicate image is needed.
  • Fill color on a button with Fast Dynamo is always black.
  • Alpha blending is not supported for Fast Dynamo buttons. If any text or other buttons appear on top of a button with Fast Dynamo video, the Overall Opacity is ignored and the graphics are overlaid on top of the video rather than blended. If blending is required, standard dynamo video can still be used but the video will not be accelerated.
  • On rare occasion, wireless security settings can't be changed. If a reboot does not correct this, it may be necessary to reset to factory defaults via the protected setup page, then modify the wireless settings as desired.
  • Deep sleep has been disabled altogether due to 802.11 issues.
  • It is possible to design pages that will allow the Master Volume to be controlled. This can cause distortion in audio should the volume be set to a high value (higher than 25).
  • In some low memory situations, certain wireless functions (e.g. site survey) may cease to work.
  • Occasionally after entering the correct password to undock a panel, it may display a second keyboard asking for a password after the panel is removed. The new keyboard may be aborted with no adverse affects.
