Introducing the AMX
Television Distribution System

AMX announces a new Television Distribution System (TDS) line of products that transmit digital TV content over Ethernet using a multi-cast enabled LAN as opposed to separate dedicated coaxial cables.

TDS is an easy-to-implement digital TV solution. AMX DTV Transmitters send a complete MPEG2 transport stream, which can include multiple individual channels of live programming to AMX DTV Receivers located at the TV display.

DTV Transmitters and Receivers also send control information over the same Ethernet network for centralized management and control of edge displays. AMX DTV Receivers are available in High-Definition and Standard Definition models.

  • Content, Control and Power Over A Single Cable AMX DTV Receivers feature embedded NetLinx control. Additionally, DTV Receivers are Power over Ethernet (PoE), eliminating the need for a power supply at the display

  • Cost Effective You can leverage the existing network and cabling infrastructure to make installation and content distribution more cost-effective instead of running additional coaxial cable

  • NetLinx and RMS Compatible Using NetLinx control and the Resource Management Suite, you can control, schedule and monitor the digital TV network within a home or facility. Offers current AMX Control System users an easy way to implement an integrated digital TV solution
