OVERVIEW
A DIN rail or top-hat rail is a standardized 35 mm wide metal rail with hat-shaped cross section used, especially in Europe, for mounting industrial control equipment such as the NI-700 or NI-900, inside equipment racks, structured wiring cabinets or equipment closets. To use a DIN Rail mounting bracket, mount equipment on the supplied aluminum plate or strips, and the entire assembly can then be easily clipped on or removed from the DIN rail.
