OVERVIEW
The Anterus RFID Reader increases the capabilities of an integrated A/V or control system. Use the ANT-RDR with the NetLinx controller to trigger system events or notify administrators by simply walking into or out of a room with an Anterus RFID asset tag or ID badge.

COMMON APPLICATION
The Anterus Reader quickly locates assets, equipment, or people connected with Anterus tags or badges. It is ideal for a variety of locations including: meeting rooms, hospitals, hotels, classrooms, network operation centers, or retail stores, just to name a few.

  • Initiates system macros, presets, or user preferences based on recognition of an Anterus RFID tag
  • Integrates with AMX's Resource Management Suite® or can be used as a stand-alone solution for NetLinx masters
  • Secures fixed assets, such as large stationary equipment, not traditionally connected to an RMS-supported control system

  • AXLINK Status LED (green): Blinks to indicate the device is installed and communicating properly. Solid ON = Power on, but no master connection. Solid OFF = No power

REAR PANEL COMPONENTS

  • AxLink connector – 4-pin 3.5 mm mini-Phoenix (male) connector provides data and power to the ANT-RDR.
  • DEVICE ID 8-position DIP Switch – Used to set the unique binary device number. The device number is set by the total value of DIP switch positions that are ON (down).
