OVERVIEW
The Tango Zone Expander is used in conjunction with the Tango Audio Controller when additional audio zones are needed. Each DAS-T0804X-SIG adds 4 zones, and up to 7 Expanders can be added to each Tango Audio Controller for a total of up to 60 zones per system. Like the Tango Audio Controller, 40 watts per channel of stereo sound are delivered to each zone. Audio can be retrieved from any one of eight sources connected to the Tango Audio Controller.

COMMON APPLICATION
Expanding the number of distributed audio zones in a system. Commonly found in single-family homes, condominium buildings, restaurants, spas and small offices.

FRONT PANEL COMPONENTS

  • Light Bar: Blue light bar indicates power status
  • LEDs: Blue LEDs indicate active zones

REAR PANEL COMPONENTS

  • Power Switch/Receptacle: Master power switch remains in the ON position normally
  • Paging In/Out Ports: RCA jacks to connect to paging devices (any audio input can be used as a paging device). The Paging device connects to the Controller via the "Paging In" connector. The "Paging Out" connector is used to carry the page to Zone Expander(s)
  • Expansion IN Port: RJ-11 - From Controller or other Zone Expander
  • Expansion OUT Port: RJ-11 - To another Zone Expander
  • Address Switch: Sets the address of the Zone Expander and the zones within that Expander
  • Zone Outputs: Connections for up to 8 zone outputs that connect to the keypads
