OVERVIEW
The Metreau Entry Communicator with display enables doorbell notification to residents of hotels, homes, or condos from visitors at doors and gates. With the addition of an AMX Modero Intercom-Enabled Touch Panel, residents can see visitors via an integrated one-way color camera, have two-way audio conversations, and open doors or gates. By taking advantage of the integrated 1.6" display (not weather-resistant), users have the option of placing custom logos, personalized greeting messages, privacy notifications and other announcements (e.g. "Welcome," "Do Not Disturb," "Make up Room") on the display. Adding the AMX Communication Gateway will also enable residents to communicate with visitors from any telephone throughout the business or residence.

Ideal for residences to allow display of street address or family name or hotel rooms to display room or number or message for housekeeping or visitors.

REAR PANEL COMPONENTS

  • 2 Multi-Purpose I/Os (5V): 2-channel binary I/O ports for contact closure with each input being capable of voltage sensing. Input format is software select able with interactive power sensing for IR ports
  • 2 Low Voltage Relays (1A contact): 2-channel singlepole single throw relay ports with each relay being independently controlled and supporting up to 2 independent external relay devices

The MET-ECOM is installed in one of two ways:
