G4 TECHNOLOGY

This product features AMX’s exclusive, powerful G4 graphics engine – the driving force behind the advanced graphics and image processing capability on a variety of AMX Touch Panels and other devices.

OVERVIEW
The MVP-5100 is a 5.2" Touch Panel built on the same lightning fast processor as the MVP-5200i and offers the same eye-popping, crisp, clean, high-resolution graphics in an ultra-light compact design that is easy to carry. The MVP-5100 is perfect for installations desiring the sleek, sexy design of the MVP-5150, but not requiring wireless capability. The MVP-5100 offers one-way IR communication giving the user instant control of devices in the same room or system devices when using an IR sensor connected to a NetLinx Control System.

COMMON APPLICATION
Ideal for secure environments and mission critical applications where only IR communications are allowed and wireless communications are not permitted such as government and military facilities. The MVP-5100 compact size, fully customizable interface and high resolution graphics make it the perfect solution for controlling A/V devices in home theaters and secondary bedrooms.

This enhancement will be available through a new firmware update.

POWER MODES

  • On: All necessary modules are powered up and device remains online with the NetLinx Master.
  • Sleep: Only the backlight will be turned off after the user selectable time of inactivity has elapsed. Panel resumes the ON mode in ~ 1 second upon a momentary press of the touchscreen.
  • Shutdown: Power to all peripherals and components is turned off. The system remains in this mode until either it is rebooted or the battery is completely drained. The panel is re-activated by pressing the touchscreen and holding until the AMX splash screen appears.
