SP-16-AX-TR-US 16-Button KeyPad (US) With AxLink

OVERVIEW
Novara SP-16-AX-TR-US AxLink Series KeyPads feature a 16-button layout, integrated AxLink interface and fit 3-gang US conduit boxes. These KeyPads are extremely versatile in that they can be used to directly interface with NetLinx Controllers either by serial or AxLink connection. For added convenience, your AxLink connection also powers your KeyPad, thus reducing the need for an external power supply.

COMMON APPLICATION
A good choice for expanding control in schools, government and other applications requiring cost-effective control without having to re-train users that are already familiar with the look and operation of Novara ControlPads.

New in This Release:

  • During power down the keypad could enter a brown out state which caused erratic behavior. This could cause the keypad to become non-functional and non-recoverable. A trap has been placed to catch this eventuality.
  • Bug fixed in the AXLink communications in which if there were multiple keypads on the bus trying to communicate to a master at the same time, both keypads would become locked and require a power cycle to recover.
