PDXL-2は、Power over DXLinkインジェクターであり、ツイストペアケーブルを通じて電力を「注入」することで、任意の2つのDXLinkデバイスをリモートで電源供給することができます。PDXL-2はNetLinxコントローラーからのI/O制御も受け入れ、接続されたDXLinkデバイスのいずれか(または両方)の電源をオフにする機能を提供し、使用されていない場合の消費電力削減を実現します。

PDXL-2デュアルPower over DXLINKコントローラーは、DXLinkトランスミッターからDXLinkレシーバーへのポイントツーポイント接続に電力を供給する機能を提供し、DXLinkデバイスの設置場所の近くにAC電源コンセントを必要としません。NetLinxコントローラーと組み合わせて使用した場合、PDXL-2はルーム全体のスタンバイモードの一部としてDXLinkデバイスの電源をオフにし、エネルギー使用量を削減することができます。
