PDXL-2 adalah injector Power over DXLink yang memungkinkan pemberian daya jarak jauh ke dua perangkat DXLink mana pun dengan "menyuntikkan" daya melalui kabel twisted pair. PDXL-2 juga menerima kontrol I/O dari pengontrol NetLinx yang memungkinkan kemampuan power down ke salah satu (atau kedua) perangkat DXLink yang terhubung untuk mencapai penghematan daya ketika tidak digunakan.

Pengontrol PDXL-2 Dual Power over DXLINK memberikan kemampuan untuk memberi daya ke DXLink Transmitter point-to-point ke DXLink Receiver tanpa memerlukan outlet AC di dekat lokasi perangkat DXLink. Ketika digunakan dengan pengontrol NetLinx, PDXL-2 dapat mematikan perangkat DXLink sebagai bagian dari mode standby seluruh ruangan untuk mengurangi penggunaan energi.
