OVERVIEW
The AMX NMX-ENC H.264 Encoder with Recording is a hardware streaming video encoding device that allows you to stream video from a source device across the network in high definition h.264 video, as well as capture that video for later viewing.
The NMX-ENC encoder connects directly to source devices such as PCs, cameras and set-top boxes and streams the video across the network in unicast or multicast. Once video is on the network, it can be played back in a variety of situations such as on displays throughout a building, in a window within a digital signage message, or using a network media solution like AMX's Vision².
As well, the NMX-ENC encoder captures live video and saves the video recording onto an attached USB hard drive. Once the recording is complete, the encoder can be configured to automatically send the video file to a selected server.
