Whether HDMI, Twisted Pair Category Cable, or Fiber is determined to be the best medium for delivery, users will receive second to none clarity and immediacy of signal delivery. If long distances are required, single mode fiber can distribute pixel-for-pixel video securely over 10 kilometers from the source with a delay of only 4.8 one-millionth of a second, making it the method of choice for government and other sensitive applications.

DGX features a sophisticated, mobile-friendly web interface so that configuration, maintenance, and diagnostics can be performed without the need for proprietary software, making it extremely convenient for IT staff and administrators, and offering the ability to log in remotely, anytime from anywhere to access and manage the system. An embedded Ethernet switch can manage the entire solution, including source equipment and display devices located throughout the environment – all from a single point of control.
Centralized AV systems should maintain a security posture in alignment with the user’s security goals and meet the latest standards expected of the IT industry. This includes central management of users, permissions, passwords, levels of system access, audit logs and reporting. The DGX switchers come with a built-in control processor for integrated device control with industry-leading security features including an isolated network we call ICSLan, 802.1X support, LDAP integration with unlimited user-defined groups, syslog support, and support for encrypted IP communication using FIPS 140-2 validated cryptographic modules.
REDUNDANT AND RELIABLE
Redundancy and reliability are paramount considerations. Every DGX frame comes with redundant, hot-swappable power supplies, each with an isolated power path to reduce the effects of an external loss of power. Additionally, the front panel, fan, and CPU are all field serviceable and DGX has a modular architecture which allows individual input and output cards to be replaced while the switcher is running and without effecting the rest of the system.
