5. Programming Information

- These devices can be updated using a VNM (Virtual NetLinx Controller)
but the update will go much faster if you can connect to a physical
NetLinx controller. VNM update could take up to 2 hours but
using a physical controller should take less than an hour.
- The update takes place in 3 stages. The first part of the update
happens during the Firmware Transfer in NetLinx Studio. Once that
transfer has completed the device will then continue the update and
show its progress in the Update Status page of the devices webgui.
This must be selected prior to update and then it can be monitored.
Once that update shows as completed the unit will then display the
last stage of the update on a display connected to the HDMI output.
The device will reboot when it has completed the full update.

6. Notable Points
----------------------------------------------------------
- These units have a web interface that is accessible by entering
the IP of the device into a web browser. This may indicate there
is a certificate error, but you can select the Advanced option at
the bottom and proceed to the page. A new certificate can be loaded
via the web interface.
